A Ministerial Decision to Convert Al-Kitab University College to Al- Kitab University

In the name of Allah the Compassionate the Merciful

“And if you count the grace of God, you do not collect it, Allah is the Forgiving, Most Merciful.”(Al-Nahl Sura(18).

          Thanks and gratitude to God Almighty and the efforts and good will of those in charge in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Council of Private University Education and the Department of Private University Education, it has been officially decided today (in the meeting of the fourth session of  the Council of  Private University Education headed by HE Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of the Deputy Secretary Prof. Dr. Salam Khoshnao, the ministry’s officials and general directors, and the director of university education, Mr. Ali Razzouki, and the presidents and deans of universities and private colleges, including the president of Al-Kitab University Prof. Dr. Iyad Ghani Ismail  on Monday 6^th August, 2018)  to officially convert Al-Kitab University College to Al-Kitab University.

          On this happy occasion, Al-Kitab University expresses its thanks and gratitude to the officials of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University Council of Education and the Department of University Education for their support and assistance.

          This decision reaffirms the prestigious position of Al-Kitab University, including its teaching staff, university environment, infrastructure and scientific integrity, which occupies today one of the advanced ranks in Iraq.

          It is a happy occasion to congratulate the President of Al-Kitab University, staff and students, who presented the finest examples of outstanding scientific contribution, which had a major impact in the issuance of this resolution.

          We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the owner of Al-Kitab University, Mr. Yacoub Najmuddin, for all his efforts and his contribution to the progress of the university and his continuous support for the development of its projects.
