Al-Kitab University Embarks on Tajweed Mastery Journey

A course to teach Tajweed of the Holy Quran at Al-Kitab University
The President of #Al-Kitab_University, Professor Dr. Iyad Barznji, praised the organization of a course to teach the provisions and recitation of the Qur’an at the university.
Addressing the participants, he added: I congratulate you and yours for choosing this blessed topic to be the focus of this training course, because the dignity and glory of the nation of Islam lies in its preservation of its faith, foremost among which is memorizing and reciting the Holy Book.
Today (Monday), the Department of Education and Islamic Sciences at the College of Education at the University organized the opening ceremony of a course to teach the provisions of recitation and intonation of the Qur’an, in the presence of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Iyad Barzanji, the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Hazza Daoud, the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Uday Jaseb, and a group of professors and students.
Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Khurshid gave a valuable lecture in which he explained the provisions of recitation of the Holy Qur’an, the origins of the letters, how to pronounce them, and other aspects related to the recitation and reading of the Wise Book.
