Al-Kitab University: Providing free radiology and ultrasound services to all citizens
Today, Tuesday (29/3/2022), an X-ray and sonar unit equipped with modern equipment was opened at Al-Kitab University, providing its services to all citizens free of charge.
Citizens wishing to visit this unit at the university’s headquarters in Alton Kopri will be able to conduct an ultrasound examination during official working days on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays, while they will be able to review for x-rays only on Tuesday of every week.
The x-ray or ultrasound examination is performed by a group of the best doctors and technicians from the university professors, and their medical reports are officially and fundamentally approved.
The Presidency of the Radiology and Ultrasound Department at Al-Kitab University called on the honorable citizens to kindly review it within the dates specified above.
On this occasion, the Department of Radiology and Ultrasound at the Medical Technical College at Al-Kitab University organized a celebration attended by Prof. Dr. Latif Barzanji, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed H. Munajid, Dean of the Medical Technical College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ronak T. Ali, Head of the Radiology and Ultrasound Department, and a group of distinguished professors and university students.
The celebration included a presentation of the students’ activities in the department and the honoring of a group of professors for their efforts in opening this unit.
Providing these free medical services to all citizens comes within the framework of Al-Kitab University’s commitment to its societal responsibility and its keenness to provide various services to the public in Kirkuk Governorate and the whole of Iraq
