Welcome to the Department of Law at Al-Kitab University.
The Department of Law was established since the early beginnings of Al-Kitab University in the academic year 2012-2013. The department accepts graduates of preparatory schools (scientific and literary), and seeks to qualify them over the four years of study to be specialists in the fields of law. The language of instruction at the department is Arabic besides English.
Given that the science of law has penetrated various fields in our lives, as an organizing tool for all of these areas, the department has only envisioned a vision for itself that focused on the academic side without eliminating interest in the practical aspect of education by commenting on judicial decisions related to the topics of lectures and encouraging the movement of scientific and practical research and training students in Courts of the judiciary and judicial and legal circles in an effort to make the section one of the leading departments in Iraq and the Middle East.
Preparing human rights generations armed with the knowledge that qualifies them to establish concepts of justice, democracy and the rule of law in our new Iraq, creating an appropriate educational environment for students, and providing quality educational programs in various fields of science and knowledge.
The department has goals that go beyond the graduation of distinguished human cadres to contribute to community service from other gates, including setting up legal courses in topics that can be described as modern in the legal field for lawyers and legal cadres in the public and private sectors, as well as, contributing to providing legal advice to public and private institutions and establishing the legal clinic for trust in suits Categories that are unable to hire lawyers to defend their rights, provide the best quality of knowledge, and develop the scientific and practical queen of students to prepare and qualify them.
