The Department of Pharmacy at Al-Kitab University College organized a scientific visit for its students to the (Sarzi) mixed high school in Alton-Kobry. The visit, which took place under the supervision of the head of the pharmacy department, Assistant Professor Dr. Nihad Abdel-Wahab, included a scientific seminar presented by the student Raghad Al-Qaisi, on breast cancer and methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of it, while the student Muhammad Sherko gave a lecture on AIDS and methods of its spread, treatment and prevention. This visit comes within the framework of the direction of the Department of Pharmacy at the Al Kitab University College towards applying modern learning methods (Experiential Education) and keeping pace with the requirements of the International Quality Council for International Pharmaceutical Education ACPE

The school administration and its students expressed their admiration for this initiative, expressing their praise and thanks to the pharmacy department at Al-Kitab University College, wishing more of these scientific visits and circulating them to other schools in Kirkuk governorate. The University College of Book is keen to follow the principle of community partnership and openness to society.
