A scientific symposium at Al-Kitab University on the occasion of World Diabetes Day
The College of Technology at Al-Kitab University held (today, Sunday, 11/29/2020) a scientific symposium on the occasion of the International Diabetes Day, in the hall of Dr. Shirwan Baban at the university’s campus in Alton-Kobry.
The group of professors and specialists attended, headed by Prof. Ayad Barzanji, President of Al-Kitab University, Dr. Abdul-Ilah Hamid Yassin, Administrative Assistant, and Professor Najat Ali Muhammad, Dean of the Medical Technical College.
The symposium included speeches and lectures given by a number of specialized professors and the presentation of pictorial slides, samples of medicines and medical treatments, talking about the causes and factors of infection, causes of increase and decrease in blood sugar and methods of prevention. This event comes within the framework of commemorating the World Diabetes Day, which aims to shed light on diabetes as part of its awareness.
