Welcome to the Department of Aeronautical Engineering Techniques at Al-Kitab University
The Department of Aeronautical Engineering Technologies occupies a prominent position in our dear Iraqi society for its distinguished academic program derived from solid universities. The academic aeronautical engineering technology programs have learning inputs that are subject to the specifications of international organizations for academic accreditation based on distinguished engineering associations (ABET). The Department of Aeronautical Engineering Technologies includes a selection of faculty members drawn from ranked universities Internationally distinguished facilities, state-of-the-art educational technology and pioneering multidisciplinary academic subjects characterized by continuous updating in order to provide everything that contributes to raising the academic level of the student and improving learning outcomes. In higher education, distinguished by education based on excellence, innovation, community involvement, and contribution to economic recovery, social transformation and upgrading the standard of living. The Department of Aviation Engineering Techniques, through Al-Kitab University, contributes to achieving the vision of the Iraqi state by aligning learning outcomes with the labor market, especially after the proposal to establish Mosul and Kirkuk airports; As well as upgrading the university’s classification and achieving a high academic level for its students.
The Department of Aeronautical Technology Engineering at the university seeks to be one of the main tributaries in preparing workers in specialized engineering fields with high qualifications in the field of aeronautical engineering, who can cover wide sectors in various fields and within the public and private sectors, in addition to providing distinguished education and producing innovative research that serves the community, It contributes to building knowledge by creating a stimulating environment for learning, intellectual creativity, optimal use of technology, and effective local and global partnership.
The department’s mission is to prepare and qualify human competencies capable of carrying out their duties with high efficiency and to actively contribute to any development renaissance enhanced by the following:
1. Paying attention to serious and sober scientific research by providing the best research capabilities.
2. Providing equal opportunity for students and faculty members.
3. Advancing the technical responsibility of the department in a manner that lives up to the expectations and aspirations of the relevant sectors of society.
4. Preparing engineers in the field of aeronautical engineering techniques to help prepare and develop the infrastructure in this field.
5. Preparing and enhancing the ability of the department’s graduates to provide the necessary research to develop an understanding of aviation systems and the operation of these systems.
6. Cooperating with relevant institutions inside and outside the country towards developing the department and its graduates.
1. The Aviation Technologies Department seeks to provide a distinguished university educational service in aeronautical engineering among its counterparts in the Arab and international countries that rise to the ranks of international standards.
2. Preparing qualified and trained graduates who possess golden capabilities and research and professional skills.
3. Active participation in the development of technological culture in aviation technology engineering and dissemination, and directing it to serve the growing needs of society.
