Al-Kitab University’s Groundbreaking Participation at CSW68

#Al-KitabUniversity believes in the pioneering role of university women, lecturer Hala Nouri participated in the sixty-eighth session of the meetings of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68) at the United Nations headquarters in New York, as the sole representative of Iraq in this international event.

The United Nations Commission on the Status of Women is concerned with the advancement of education, gender equality, human rights and the empowerment of women.

This is the first participation of Iraqi university women in an international forum at this level.
On the sidelines of the meetings, lecturer Hala Nouri presented an overview of the stages of development of Al-Kuttab University and the pivotal role of women in it. She also distributed introductory brochures about the university.
