Dr Sinan Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mahmood, Vice Dean for Scientifc Affairs

Dr. Sinan Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mahmood his bachelor’s in pharmacy from Mosul University / Iraq and registered with Syndicate of Iraqi Pharmacist since 2001. Upon completing his bachelor in 2001, he worked as a trainee pharmacist at Saladin health office/ Tikrit hospital / Iraq for one year before continuing his study in a master degree. In 2006 he joined Pharmacy College/ Tikrit University in Iraq as a lecturer and as head of the department of pharmacology and toxicology. He continued his Ph.D. study in pharmacology at International Islamic University Malaysia the University (IIUM). He joined IIUM in November 2013 as a lecturer at Basic Medical Sciences. In addition, he appointed as head of research from 2015 till April 2018 at the same university. In October 2018, he joined Pharmacy College/ Al-Kitab University in Iraq as a lecturer and as a deputy dean. His research interest is on the diabetic complication, drugs combination and alternative medicine.
