The Department of Technical Production and Metals Engineering, officially approved on October 12, 2025, is a specialized department within the College of Technical Engineering at Al-Kitab University. It specializes in training qualified engineers and technical staff to design, operate, and optimize modern production systems and metal processing technologies. The program focuses on practical skills in manufacturing processes, metal forming and casting, production line automation, quality control systems, and industrial materials engineering. The department offers integrated curricula that blend theoretical knowledge with extensive laboratory and workshop training, enabling students to conduct production efficiency research, optimize manufacturing operations, and implement advanced metal processing solutions across industrial sectors. It collaborates closely with manufacturing companies, industrial facilities, and metallurgical institutions to provide students with real-world experience. The department is supported by advanced production and metallurgy laboratories and is supervised by a distinguished group of academics and technical experts in production engineering and metallurgical sciences.
