The Department of Technical Electrical Engineering , officially approved on September 30, 2025, is a foundational department within the College of Engineering at Al-Kitab University. It specializes in training qualified technical staff and associate engineers to install, operate, and maintain modern electrical systems. The program focuses on practical skills in electrical power distribution, control systems, renewable energy integration, electrical machinery, and smart grid technologies. The department offers integrated curricula that blend theoretical knowledge with extensive laboratory and workshop training, enabling students to conduct electrical system analysis, troubleshoot industrial equipment, and implement efficient electrical solutions across various sectors. It collaborates closely with power companies, industrial facilities, and engineering firms to provide students with hands-on experience. The department is supported by advanced electrical laboratories and is supervised by a distinguished group of academics and technical experts in electrical power engineering.
